What is NLH all about?
New Lifehouse, established in 1984 is located on 30 beautiful, wooded acres adjacent to Grand Lake of the Cherokees in Disney, Oklahoma.
The girls that come to New Lifehouse are no longer able to function in their family setting due to substance abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, running away and/or incorrigible behavior toward parental/school authority. They may stay from one year to two years. Our goals are to instill an understanding of the value of their life through a relationship with Jesus Christ, their responsibility for their choices and reintegration back into their family. While some of the girls are from Oklahoma, other states are represented as well.
We accept referrals from private homes, churches, other programs or juvenile authorities. Our program may be used as a positive alternative to imprisonment or institutionalization. Priority of services will be to those students who voluntarily desire help.
The New Lifehouse is a part of Teen Challenge of Oklahoma Inc.
Teen Challenge is a department under the Assemblies of God Home Missions Division.
